Dapagliflozin 10mg
Tablet is used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat type 2
diabetes mellitus. It helps control the high sugar levels seen in diabetes.
This reduces the chances of serious complications of diabetes and also helps
prevent heart disease.
This medicine is only part of a treatment
program that should include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight
reduction as advised by your doctor.

Before
taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver
problems or a urinary tract infection or if you are on water pills (diuretics).
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking
it. 

Usage



Type
2 Diabetes:It helps control high blood sugar and is typically used alongside
diet and exercise.



Heart
Failure: It can also decrease the risk of hospitalization for heart failure in
patients with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease or
multiple cardiovascular risk factors.



Chronic
Kidney Disease : It may be used to slow the progression of CKD in certain
patients.
